  In the center is a photograph copied from the book "Der Krieg und das Kind" of soldiers in a field. Around the copy are words, including "Soldier of German Nazis," "Woman," "Child," "murdered person," and "in their grave, before extermination: people." In the upper right corner are the words "for the 8th of May — Day of Liberation." "Proof copy" is written in pencil in the lower left corner.

The bottom half, PL-0682, shows a black and white image of soldiers sitting on tanks throwing their helmets and hats into the air. In the center there is a red stem of a large flower which blooms on the top half of the poster, PL-0683. Oversize.

  This poster commemorates VE day, May 8th, 1945. It shows a black and white image of what appear to be Red Army soldiers. The caption reads “They prevailed - that is why we live.” Oversize.

  Poster commemorates the May Day celebration from 1985. It is also the 40 year anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The poster shows a large photograph of a child being held by a soldier. Oversize.
