Published in February 1987, this master plan revised the 1979 plan. It was prepared to reflect an institution that one day would have an enrollment of 30,000. Contained in this document are an Introduction, Analysis, and Master Plan (containing land use, buildings, land use, circulation [traffic and pedestrian], and utilities and lighting).

Compiled by Sasaki & Associates, Inc., Watertown, Massachusetts;
Hankins and Anderson, Inc., Richmond Virginia; and MIRA, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota, the document is a 17.28" x 11.12" (43.9 cm x 28.2 cm) spiral-bound volume containing 22 leaves, 11 tables, and twelve illustrations, which mostly comprise plats detailing potential building and program locations and campus features.
