Remedy for back pain; calls for comfrey, clary sage, pith from the back leg bones of an ox, muscadine wine, eggs, and sugar. Also advises the consumption of crocus martis and rose conserves.

Take 4 roots of Comfery Knit gras & Clary of Each a handfull 2 or 3 Sprigs of Rosemary, the bignes of 2 Nutmegs of Gallingalle half an ounce of Sinemond all the pith that sieth in the back bones of an ox. Stamp boyll these in a quart of Musciden Strain it & put to it the yolk of 6 eggs well beaten, of sugar what your pleas Drink a good Draught of it fasting in the morning as much at Night in bed Take Crokos Martis & Conserv of Red Roses of Each one ounce Mix thm togeather & Eat of them 3 or 4 times a day
